| When Gamle Aker Spelemannslag (GAS) were first formed in 1989, we used the motto “Music is Fun”. We have taken our name “Aker” from an old area of Oslo. The first CD “Waltzes, Rheinlenders and even more” was released in 2002, and the second CD "D. D. Vart" in 2008. The third CD "GASrør" was finally ready in 2013. Our main reason for playing dance music remains to have fun, and we would like to share more of our repertory with our audience. GAS would like to pay tribute to LM-Studio for such a great sound job and also say a big thank you to 2RE-2NE-R2 3KKSPILLTROLL ANS for the use for BUGARI musette accordions. BUGARI Champion cassotto accordions with double basson are also used on several of the tunes on our CDs. |
